REFUSE COLLECTION

BLACK and BROWN wheelie bins go out together on the same day on alternate Fridays. The GREEN bin goes out on the other alternate Friday. The collection is generally between 7am and 8am so put them out the night before!

The BLACKbin is for general household rubbish.
The BROWN bin is for composting material such as gardening waste.
The GREEN bin is for recyclable materials such as plastics, paper and cardboard.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

Neighbourhood Watch is active in the village. If you would like to get involved then please contact Charlotte Cook through the contact form on the Neighbourhood Watch page.

PLACES OF WORSHIP

As well as St. Mary’s Church in Orlingbury there are another 4 places of worship nearby :

  • St. Mary’s – Little Harrowden
  • All Saints – Great Harrowden
  • St. Peter’s – Isham
  • All Saints – Pytchley

Roman Catholic, United Reformed, Methodist, Baptist, Salvation Army, Society Of Friends (Quakers), Church Of The Latter Day Saints, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hebrew Congregation and the Hindu Temple are all represented in Kettering, Wellingborough and Northampton.

LIBRARY SERVICE

The mobile library service comes to the village green on the 4th Friday of every month from 6:20pm to 6:45pm.

They have a really good selection of books to choose from.  It really is a case of “use it or lose it“!!!
